There is no such thing as a stupid question! If you are worried or curious about your health please ask.............

There are many people and places that you can access advice about your health - however some sources are more reliable than others! There are for example some good websites with reliable information, but there are many that can be misleading.

How can I get help or advice at CGMG?

  • Make an appointment to see one of the Doctors or Nurses - you can bring a friend, or your parent / guardian, or you can come on your own

  • You can submit us an email question via our forum and one of our nurses will reply -

hover the Teen Zone in the menu bar and select "question"

  • Read the information or watch the videos available in the Teen Zone

Is the service confidential?

Even if you are under 16 you still have the same rights to confidentiality as anyone else.

Our doctors and nurses have to follow very strict rules on confidentiality and the law says we have to keep all patient records and information completely private.

In exceptional circumstances, for example when a doctor or nurse thinks you might be in serious danger, it might be necessary to pass information on but, even if we do, we will usually talk to you first before we tell anyone else. This applies to everyone, no matter what age you are.
